7 great reasons to make exfoliation part of your skin routine.

  1. Exfoliation Improve Your Skins Texture

When we are young our skin cells turnover every 28 days as we age 20 years on-wards this process starts to slow and the dead skin cells take longer to fall off the skin surface. These extra dead skin cells makes your skin look dull, dry,  scaly and lifeless plus it will give the appearance of wrinkles.  Helping your skin to ride of the excess tired, dead cells helps the skin renewal process, allowing new healthy cells to take their place it turns your complexion bright, vibrant, and smooth.

  2. Exfoliating Reduces the Appearance of Large Pores

When pores become clogged, they appear larger. Cleansing your skin daily will help but by exfoliating you are giving your skin a deeper cleanse and will de-clog the pores.  Along with dead cells, exfoliating also removes the dirt stuck deep inside your pores and will diminish the size of your pores allowing your skin to have a healthy polished glow.

  3. Exfoliation Allows for Better Absorption of Active Ingredients

Serum and moisturizers are better absorbed into skin when it is not blocked by layers of dead cells and dirt. By Exfoliating the extra buildup of dead skin layers it allows for a easier path for the active ingredients to travel and ensuring that they reach their desired destination.

  4. Better Makeup and Sunscreen Application

When you cleanse daily and exfoliate regularly your skin will have an appearance of smoother skin and also smaller pores this allows for better application of makeup that will go on smoother, more even, and will also allow your sunscreen to better protect your skin.

  5. Exfoliate Away All Signs of Aging

As you age, your skin becomes drier and less elastic and slower natural flaking of dead skincells, which can result in lines and wrinkles and more rough in texture than it used to be when you were young. Exfoliation is perfect solution to lighten and brighten age and sun spots by removing the excess dead skin cells that are pigmented. Plus as shown above allows for better skincare absorption and higher level of moisturized skin.

  6. Helps Clear Acne and Breakouts.

Acne-prone skin sheds extra skin cells more than other skin types, but the cells do not fall away. Instead, they get caught up in the extra sebum that the skin is producing and will clog the pores and hair follicles leading to more blockages and increase occurrence of acne and blackhead breakouts. By daily cleansing and regular exfoliation you will remove these blockages and reduce the breakouts.  Think of regular exfoliation as “taking out the trash” and reducing the likelihood of clogged pores and acne.

  7. Helps Clear Other Skin Condition – Eczema, Dermatitis and Psoriasis

With care and proper skincare program you can help reduce the signs of the skin conditions that lead to excess build up of dry scaly skin with special exfoliation treatments. It is important to seek professional advice from your skin specialist who will work with you to reduce the occurrence of these skin conditions plus help you to regain healthy skin.
